Matthew Alley

Matthew Alley is a guitarist, singer, and songwriter based in Spartanburg, SC. A native of the Upstate, he has performed across the Southeast and Midwest, spending years as an active member of the Chicagoland music scene as a solo artist, guitarist for stop.drop.rewind, and part of the duo Southeastern Avenue. Recently returning to South Carolina by way of Atlanta, Matthew maintains an active performing and recording schedule in the Southeast. 

He sings original material, Americana, bluegrass, country, and rock covers as a solo or duo artist, as well as occasionally leading a full band. 

Matthew also works as a freelance guitarist, playing with artists in a variety of styles. He is currently recording an EP of original songs.
